Robert Gordon Mackie (born March 24, 1939)[1][2] is an American fashion designer and costumier, best known for his dressing of entertainment icons such as Cher, Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Diahann Carroll, Carol Channing, Ann-Margret, Bette Midler, Doris Day, Marlene Dietrich, Barbara Eden, Lola Falana, Judy Garland, Mitzi Gaynor, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Marilyn Monroe, Marie Osmond, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Dottie West, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Barbra Streisand, and Oprah Winfrey among others.
