João Almeida (footballer, born 1947)

João de Almeida Pereira Filho (born 3 July 1947) is a Brazilian footballer. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1968 Summer Olympics.[1]
In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is de Almeida and the second or paternal family name is Pereira. "Filho" is a generational suffix meaning "son", which is used for someone whose name is the same as their father, like "Jr." in English.
