Lisette Denison Forth

Elizabeth "Lisette" Denison Forth (c. 1786 – August 7, 1866) was an African-American landowner and philanthropist from Michigan. Forth was born enslaved, and worked as a maid before becoming a landowner.[1] She was inducted into the Michigan Women's Hall of Fame in 2017.[2]
