Sir John Tenniel (28 February 1820 – 25 February 1914) was a British illustrator. He is famous for drawing the pictures in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. He was knighted by Queen Victoria in 1893. He was born and died in London.
