Robert Henry Brown (born 2 May 1940) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre forward in the Football League in the 1960s. He began his career as an amateur with Barnet where his prolific scoring record saw him earn a move to Fulham in 1960. He went on to play over 100 games in the Football League, during spells with Watford, Northampton Town and Cardiff City,[2] before he was forced to retire at the age of 27 due to a knee injury. He also represented England at amateur level and Great Britain at the 1960 Summer Olympics, scoring four times in three group matches.[3]
