Summary
DescriptionEnvironmental work decreases impact on Afghanistan's natural and cultural resources 100515-A-CE099-001.jpg |
English: Qalat city, Zabul, Afghanistan. – Built more than 2,000 years ago, during his push to India, this fortress (Qalat City Fort) was considered a favorite by legendary conqueror and Greek military leader Alexander the Great. His army spent three years here while his troops fattened themselves from the “breadbasket” of the Middle East.
