English: High Harrington railway station (site), Cumbria Opened in 1879 by the Cleator and Workington Junction Railway on the line from Cleator Moor to Siddick, this station is believed to have closed to passengers in 1931 (needs confirmation). View north towards Workington and Siddick. Old photos show there were two platforms, each with a wooden building. The line had become a cycle track when this image was taken. |
