Jonathan Gregory "J.D." Davis (born April 27, 1993) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Houston Astros, New York Mets and San Francisco Giants. Davis played college baseball at California State University, Fullerton, and was drafted by the Astros in the third round of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut with the Astros in 2017.
