In July 2014 Nozomi Ōsaka, under penname Non, replaces Akaringo as illustrator for the original light novel and its spin-off due to Akaringo's health condition. Akaringo stated that his health declined, and which is why the illustration for seventh volume could not be finished. Due to this, the decision was made to replace the illustrator in both projects.[2]
