Słopnice ([swɔpˈɲit͡sɛ]; pronunciation: swop-NEET-sə) is a village in Limanowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Słopnice.[2] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) west of Limanowa and 50 km (31 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
