Sergio Cabrera (director)

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Cabrera and the second or maternal family name is Cárdenas.
Sergio Cabrera Cárdenas (born 20 April 1950) is a Colombian film director.[1][2] He has directed more than twenty films since 1978. He was the subject of Juan Gabriel Vásquez's novel Retrospective.[3] On August 18, 2022, President Gustavo Petro appointed him Colombia's ambassador to China.[4]
