I'm trying to figure out how I want to merge info from other articles into this one and I'm trying to find a home for the Unsullied besides the "War of ASOIAF" article. I'm not sure if this is the pace to put it or not but I'm very open to suggestion. NeoFreak 07:09, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

I think everything on the Eastern continent can be merged into one article. The Free Cities, the Dothraki Sea, Asshai, Valyria, Qarth, and Slaver's Bay. It's not going to be longer than the Westeros article. Also, I'm not sure this article should call the region Ghis, since Ghis was the historic empire, and the current location is always called Slaver's Bay. And also, I don't think there is such a thing as "New Ghis". Was that term ever used in the series?Captain Crawdad 16:17, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- For the fisrt part, yes I agree. I've been mulling over how I wanted to do it for awhile now but I agree that the Eastern Continent deserves its own page esp since its attachment to the Westeros article is incorrect as the "world" is not named westeros but the western continent is. As far as the name Ghis I was trying to convey a history and current event type deal and the Ghiscari is the name of the people there and the name of their nation/region. As far as New and Old Ghis, yes there are both and they are both mentioned in the series. New Ghis is an island in Slaver's Bay and Old Ghis is the destoyed capital of the old Ghiscari Empire on the mainland and if I recall you can find them both on the maps in the books. - The current article is rather confusing. I understand that the old heartland of Ghis was to the east of the present Slaver's Bay, but seeing how most of the article talks about the three cities in Slaver's Bay, it makes no sense to say in the introduction that Ghis "borders Slaver's Bay". --Paul Willocx 15:41, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
