Tanguturi Suryakumari (13 November 1925 ā 25 April 2005), also known by her married name Suryakumari Elvin,[1] was an Indian singer, actress and dancer in Telugu cinema. She sang "Maa Telugu Thalliki", the official song of the State of Andhra Pradesh.[2] She was the winner of Miss Madras 1952 pageant[3] and runner-up of the Miss India 1952 pageant.[1] She was the niece of activist and politician Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, who served as the first chief minister of Andhra state and previously as the chief minister of Madras.
