During its existence the club competed in the Italian league system, spending most of the time in the second and third levels, finishing their last season as 4th in Group A of the 1942–43 Serie C. Between 1943 and 1946 the club continued to play under the Fiumana name and in 1946 its management decided to rebrand the side into S.C.F. Quarnero in order to be able to take part in the first Yugoslav championship.[3][4]
