George Herman "Babe" Ruth Jr. (February 6, 1895 – December 1, 1932) was an American left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball who had an 7-year career, from 1914 through 1921. He would only play for the Boston Red Sox before he would be kicked off the team, and eventually retired, for his role in the infamous 1921 World Series Scandal.
