Under the name of Galerie Moos (Geneva), one must distinguish between the Galerie Moos founded by Max Moos (father))[1] and the Galerie Georges Moos founded by Georges Moos (son).
The Maison Moos, then Galerie Moos, was an art gallery and auction house founded in 1906 in Geneva by the art dealer Max Moos. It ended its commercial activities in 1976.[2].
Several art galleries were founded by other members of the Moos family around the world: Zurich (Galerie Bollag), Karlsruhe, New York and Toronto[3],[4]
