When I first started on Wikipedia, I found an insatiable urge to edit and logged thousands of edits a month. Over the years that desire has waned to the point where other projects have drawn my interest and my edits come through in the tens per month.

I thought of retiring, but decided that I still wanted to contribute. Though my image of the ideal Wikipedian includes massive content contributions, I find that I am not up to the task and perhaps I held unrealistic goals. Though I will try to make content contributions, at this point in my life, I'm not prepared to take on anything ambitious. I simply don't have hours to dedicate to research, discussion and the innerworkings of Wikipedia space. So for the foreseeable feature I will simply be gnoming and helping out where I see need and where I find time.
