St. Patrick's Athletic is een Ierse voetbalclub uit de hoofdstad Dublin.
Geschiedenis
De club werd in 1929 opgericht en speelde lang op regionaal niveau. In 1951 werden ze verkozen tot de Ierse hoogste klasse en bij hun eerste poging werd de club meteen kampioen. In de jaren 50 volgde nog 2 titels, dan was het 34 jaar wachten op de volgende titel.
In 1986 werd Brian Kerr trainer van de club en hij zorgde ervoor dat de club beter presteerde. Kerr bleef elf jaar aan als hoofdcoach. In 1988 verloor de club op de laatste speeldag de titel aan Dundalk FC. Twee jaar later was het wel raak en van 1996 tot 1999 werd de club drie keer kampioen.
