Sarah Parker Remond

Sarah Parker Remond (June 6, 1815 ā December 13, 1894) was an African-American educator, abolitionist, and member of the American Anti-Slavery Society. She made her first speech against slavery when she was only sixteen years old. Late in life she became a physician in Italy.
