Deepika (transl.āLantern; known as Nasrani Deepika till 1939) is an Indian Malayalam-language newspaper, which is one of the oldest newspapers published in India.[1] Started in 1887, it is the oldest Malayalam newspaper now in circulation.[2] Deepika publishes editions from Kottayam, Kochi, Kannur, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.[3]
