Savona (/səˈvoʊnə/ is an unincorporated community in the Thompson Country region of south central British Columbia. The place is on the western end and south shore of Kamloops Lake, adjacent to the outlet into the Thompson River.[1] On BC Highway 1, the locality is by road about 38 kilometres (24 mi) east of Cache Creek and 45 kilometres (28 mi) west of Kamloops. The surrounding countryside is semi-arid grasslands and hills, which support cattle ranching.
