In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Berni and the second or maternal family name is Gómez.
Ángel Antonio Berni Gómez (9 January 1931 – 24 November 2017) was a Paraguayan football striker. He was part of Paraguay’s squads for the 1950 FIFA World Cup[2] and the 1953 South American Championship,[3]the latter of which being won by Paraguay.
