Alexăndreni is a commune in Sîngerei District, Moldova. It is composed of five villages: Alexăndreni, Grigorești, Heciul Vechi, Țiplești and Țipletești.[3] The village of Alexăndreni was established in 1837 as a Jewish agricultural colony, with Jews remaining as the majority of population prior to World War II. The commune is located northeast of Bălți.
