Bellmead is a city in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 10,494 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Waco Metropolitan Statistical Area. The word Bellmead means "Beautiful Autumn Valley" and was the name given to the region by its native inhabitants.[citation needed]
