Buzuluksky District

Buzuluksky District (Russian: Бузулу́кский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,800 square kilometers (1,500 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Buzuluk[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[8] Population: 31,071 (2010 Census);[4] 33,113 (2002 Census);[9] 30,374 (1989 Soviet census).[10]
