Eugene Howard Clapp III or Gene Clapp (born November 19, 1949) is an American rower and Olympian.[1] He competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics, winning the silver medal in the men's eight event.[2] He was inducted into the National Rowing Hall of Fame in 2012.[2][3]
