Gonbaki County (Persian: شهرستان گنبکی) is in Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Gonbaki,[2] whose population at the 2016 census was 7,210 people in 1,869 households.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Gavkan, Gonbaki, and Rigan Rural Districts, and the city of Mohammadabad, were separated from Bam County in the establishment of Rigan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Mohammadabad as its capital and only city at the time.
In 2023, Gonbaki District was separated from Rigan County in the establishment of Gonbaki County, which was divided into two districts and four rural districts, with Gonbaki as its capital and only city.[2]
