Ivnya (Russian: И́вня) is an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Ivnyansky District of Belgorod Oblast, Russia. Population: 7,134 (2021 Census);[3] 7,933 (2010 Russian census);[4] 7,725 (2002 Census);[5] 7,236 (1989 Soviet census).[6]

The name of the settlement comes from the trees, willow, in Russian "Ivnya" which grew up in a multitude of lakes along the area.
