John Walter Milne (4 June 1907 – 6 December 1995) was an international speedway rider.[1] He became the first American to win a motorcycling world championship when he won the Speedway World Championship in 1937 (defeating brother Cordy Milne into third place). Milne finished as runner-up in the World Championship in 1938.[2]
