Kamehameha V (Lota Kapuāiwa Kalanimakua Aliʻiōlani Kalanikupuapaʻīkalaninui;[2] December 11, 1830 – December 11, 1872[3]), reigned as the fifth monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi from 1863 to 1872.
