However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the production was postponed. The second season production moved to The Cromwell Las Vegas with strict quarantine measures in place. In February 2022, the series was picked up for its fourth and fifth seasons by Peacock. The fourth season took place in California,[13][14] and premiered on July 19, 2022.[15] The fifth season premiered July 18, 2023 with season 5 returning to Fiji for the first time since season one.[4]
On March 27, 2024, it was announced that Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix would be replacing Hyland as host for the sixth season of the show.[16]
