Novoanninsky District

Novoanninsky District (Russian: Новоа́ннинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-three in Volgograd Oblast, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Novoanninsky Municipal District.[6] It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,080 square kilometers (1,190 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Novoanninsky.[2] Population: 37,306 (2010 Russian census);[4] 41,611 (2002 Census);[8] 44,758 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of the administrative center accounts for 48.0% of the district's total population.[4]
