Novocheboksarsk (Russian: Новочебокса́рск; Chuvash: Ҫӗнӗ Шупашкар, romanized: Śĕnĕ Şupaşkar) is a city in Chuvashia, Russia, located on the southern bank of the Volga River, about 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) east of Cheboksary, the capital of the republic.
