In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Silva and the second or maternal family name is García.
Robert Silva García (born 7 March 1971) is a Uruguayan lawyer, teacher and politician of the Colorado Party (PC). From 2020 to 2023 he served as president of the Central Directive Council of the National Administration of Public Education.[1] He is a candidate in the 2024 Colorado presidential primaries for president of Uruguay in the 2024 Uruguayan general election.[2]
