Sakina Itoo

Sakina Itoo (born 5 December 1970[1]) is a Kashmiri politician former Cabinet Minister and the former member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council. A member of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, she represented Noorabad twice in 1996 and 2008.[2]She has also served as minister for several departments, eg , Social Welfare and Administrative Reforms, Inspections, Trainings & Public Grievances, Education, Tourism, Floriculture .She is the Youngest Member of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, she was only 26 year old when she won her first assembly election.

She is the president for Jammu & Kashmir National Conference in South Kashmir also state secretary of national conference and she was the only woman to serve in Kashmir's state cabinet ministry in 2008 when Omar Abdullah was incumbent chief minister.[3][4]
