Shahreza (Persian: شهرضا)[lower-alpha 1] is a city in the Central District of Shahreza County, Isfahan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] Shahreza was selected as the national city of pottery in Iran in 2015. The reason for this choice was the high skill of the artists and the unique soil of this city.[citation needed]
