Smith Field (IATA: SMD, ICAO: KSMD, FAA LID: SMD) is a public airport north of downtown Fort Wayne, in Allen County, Indiana.[1][3] It is owned and operated by the Fort Wayne Allen County Airport Authority.[1] In the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013 it is a general aviation airport.[4] The airport was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.[2]
