Sprowston (/ˈsproʊstən/ or /ˈspraʊstən/) is a town and civil parish in the Broadland district of Norfolk, England. It is bounded by Heartsease to the east, Mousehold Heath and the suburb of New Sprowston to the south, Old Catton to the west, and by the open farmland of Beeston St Andrew to the north. It is close to Norwich. The 2011 census recorded a population of 14,691 making Sprowston the most populous civil parish in Broadland district.
