Template:Request quotation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Usage
Please add this template after a reference to an unquoted source that you think may be inaccurate, like this:
{{Request quotation|date=April 2024}}
This is used to request a direct quote from the cited source, so that it may be verified that the source can verify the statement or that the editor has interpreted the source correctly.
This is particularly helpful for:
- sources that are not available online
- sources that are difficult to obtain
- foreign-language sources, per WP:NONENG
