Timothy Allen Caulfield CM[1] (born 1963) is a Canadian professor of law at the University of Alberta,[2] the research director of its Health Law Institute,[3][4] and current Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy.[5][6][7][8] He specializes in legal, policy and ethical issues in medical research and its commercialization.
