Zavyalovsky District (Russian: Завья́ловский райо́н; Udmurt: Завьял ёрос / Дэри ёрос, Zavjal joros / Deri joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southern central part of the republic. The area of the district is 2,203.3 square kilometers (850.7 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zavyalovo.[2] Population: 66,000 (2010 Russian census);[4] 59,145 (2002 Census);[8] 53,388 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Zavyalovo accounts for 13.6% of the district's total population.[4]
