Zgornja Korena (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnja ˈkoːɾɛna]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Duplek in northeastern Slovenia. It lies on the southwestern edge of the Slovene Hills (Slovene: Slovenske gorice) southeast of Maribor. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.
