Şırnak Province (Turkish: Şırnak ili, Kurdish: Parêzgeha Şirnex[2]) is a province in Turkey in the Southeastern Anatolia Region.[3] Şırnak Province was created in 1990, with areas that were formerly part of the Siirt, Hakkâri and Mardin Provinces.[4][5] It borders both Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Syria.
