Azithromycin

Azithromycin is an antibiotic which is used to treat a number of different bacterial infections in humans such as strep throat, pneumonia or bronchitis.[1] It was discovered in the late 1970s in Yugoslavia and is still one of the most popular antibiotics in the world.[2][3] Azithromycin kills bacteria by stopping the protein production inside of it.[1]
