George Lamming

George Lamming OCC (8 June 1927 – 4 June 2022) was a Barbadian novelist, essayist, and poet.[1] He was best known for his 1953 novel In the Castle of My Skin.[2] He also was a professor at Duke University and a visiting professor in the Africana Studies Department of Brown University.[3]
